Jewelry N' Objects

street gems

The street culture and the Hip Hop genre have and continue to be a major source of inspiration for me, not just in jewelry but in every aspect of my life. Both have a different kind of truth and purity to them; both celebrate the weirdness and uniqueness of the individual and more importantly, both are not afraid to face challenges with their truth. I find a lot of power and wisdom in these mediums.

"My goal, if I were going to do art, fine art, would have been to become Picasso or greater. That always sounds so funny to people, comparing yourself to someone in the past that has done so much, and in your life you 're not even allowed to think that you can do as much. That's a mentality that suppresses humanity." - Kanye West.

The Air Jordan IV
Hot Pink Eyewear

Mittelmoda - The Fashion Award Finalist

These sunglasses i've designed are a take on the AIR JORDAN IV (HOT PUNCH PINK).
I think there is something mesmerizing in the aesthetic of a great shoe, this shoe was designed by Tinker Hatfiled back in 1989. The Air Jordan IV was the first global market release of the franchise, the shoe also appeared in Spike Lee's film "Do The Right Thing". In a way these shoes had a significant impact on pop culture.

that much..." - Tinker Hatfield

The Graffiti N’ Bandana Rings

This collection of rings is a project that reflects on the way I feel about myself. As a kid, I always felt like a misfit torn between two identities, yet not fully belonging to either. This sense of duality made me question my right to belong to one group or the other. I used to think of it as a disadvantage, but as I grew up, I realized that this is where my power lies as an individual. As a designer, it’s really important to me to be authentic in my representation, so I’m happy to share with you this collection of rings. These rings represent my sense of duality. I decided to use different representations taken from my surroundings that I see as inspirational and empowering.

The bandana ring represents my love of hip-hop. I see this genre of music as the most unapologetic, pure, raw, and honest form of music.

The graffiti rings represent my love of the art form. I see this form of art as an important one that also represents honest rawness, purity, and truth to itself and society.

I’d like to think that each piece represents a part of my world.
